History
After completing an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Harding University in 1977, Dr. Adams continued his academic training by attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In 1979 he received a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. For the next four years he was employed as a Youth Minister for a church in central Michigan before transitioning to providing clinical mental health services to a forty-eight bed residential treatment center for adolescents in Northwest Indiana. Deciding to receive advanced training, he entered the Doctor of Psychology program at Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 1992. After completing the requirements and an internship at St. Josephs Mercy Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan in 1996 he began his tenure as a psychology professor at his alma mater, Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. After establishing his teaching experience, he widened his scope of services to a more clinical application when he became an Arkansas Licensed Psychologist in 2000. For the past several years his clinical work has been heavily involved in providing civil forensic assessments, ADHD evaluations, disability determination evaluations, expert witness testimony, and diagnostic services for numerous settings .
Dr. Adams interests are found in developing his teaching and clinical skills. Personally he is active with his family, grandchildren, friends and local church.

Glen M. Adams, PsyD.
Dr. Adams’ professional mission has been to provide competent mental health health services to those in need. His involvement in academic and professional activities for over 35 years has equipped him to be sensitive to the complexities of a variety of mental health concerns. Although his present practice is focused on providing several types of psychological assessments, it is his experience in individual and family therapy for nearly 30 years that provides the foundation of his understanding of the intricate qualities of psychological functioning.
